Compact track loader rental rates at T.E.S. Rentals range from $305 to $533 per day depending on machine size, lift capacity, and cab configuration. The KRT ST900HD covers light grading and material moving at the entry price point, while the John Deere 317G is the most popular all-around rental for contractors and serious DIY projects. The 325G models step up hydraulic capacity and lifting power, with the closed cab version adding climate control for long days in North Florida heat or wet weather.
Attachments add $80 to $230 per day beyond the base rate, with standard buckets and pallet forks included in every rental. Specialty attachments like brush cutters, concrete breakers, and power rakes sit at the higher end and require more hydraulic flow and operator experience. Choosing the right machine upfront often eliminates the need for expensive add-ons entirely.
Rental duration is where costs drop significantly. Weekly rentals save ~30 percent off the daily rate, and four-week rentals can cut the daily cost by more than half. Most customers underestimate project time, particularly when learning the machine, so building in extra days is almost always the smarter move.

Base Daily Rates: What You’ll Actually Pay
Here’s what my compact track loaders rent for on a daily basis (April 2026):
The KRT ST900HD runs $305 per day. It’s the smallest machine in my fleet but handles most property cleanup, light grading, and material moving jobs without issue. For weekend warriors tackling back yard brush piles or moving gravel or mulch, this machine delivers plenty of power without breaking the budget.
The John Deere 317G open station costs $415 daily. This is my most popular rental for contractors and serious DIY projects. 2000lb lift capacity, better pushing power, and 2x the bucket capacity of the KRT.
For $466 per day, the John Deere 325G open station gives you even more lifting power and hydraulic capacity. If you’re moving heavy materials, running hydraulic attachments hard, or need to reach higher dump heights, this machine pays for itself in efficiency.
The John Deere 325G closed cab runs $533 daily. Same specs as the open station but with air conditioning, heater, and weather protection. Worth every penny if you’re running long hours in summer heat or winter rain, or if the job involves dusty conditions.
How Attachments Affect Your Total Cost
Standard buckets or pallet forks come included with every rental. Beyond that, specialty attachments run $80-$230 per day depending on complexity.
Grapples sit at the lower end around $80-$120 daily. These are straightforward hydraulic attachments that most operators can figure out quickly.
Specialty items like brush cutter, concrete breakers, or power rakes run $150-$230 per day. They require more hydraulic flow, cause more wear on the machine, and often need operator experience to use safely.
I always recommend discussing your specific job before committing to an attachment. Sometimes a different approach or machine choice eliminates the need for expensive specialty attachments entirely.
Sometimes the attachment you choose often matters more than the machine itself.
Rental Duration: Where You Save Real Money
Single-day rentals work for quick jobs, but longer terms drop your daily rate fast. Four-hour rentals make sense for small material moves or quick cleanup jobs where mobilization costs would eat up half-day savings.
Weekly rentals typically save ~30% off the daily rate. Four-week rentals can cut your daily cost by more than half compared to single-day pricing. For contractors on longer projects, these extended rates make equipment rental competitive with ownership without the maintenance, storage, and depreciation headaches.
Most property owners underestimate how long their projects take. Clearing an acre of brush, moving a gravel pile, or rough-grading a driveway usually takes longer than expected, especially if you’re learning the machine. Building in extra time prevents rushed work and reduces the stress of tight return schedules.

FAQ
What’s included in the daily rental rate besides the machine?
Basic operator orientation, standard bucket or forks. Fuel, specialty attachments, and delivery cost extra.
Do you offer half-day rates for quick jobs?
Yes, we do four-hour rentals that work well for small material moves or property cleanup. The rate isn’t exactly half a day since mobilization costs stay the same, but it saves money on genuinely quick jobs.
How much does delivery cost in North Florida?
Delivery rates are subject to change but are based on mileage. Please call for exact pricing.
Can I operate a compact track loader without experience?
These machines are more forgiving than full-size equipment, but there’s still a learning curve. I provide basic orientation with every rental and recommend starting with simple tasks. If you’re uncomfortable after the first hour, call me. Sometimes a different machine or approach works better.
What happens if I need the machine longer than planned?
Call me before your return time. If the machine isn’t booked behind you, extending is usually no problem. Daily rates for extensions typically match your original rental terms, so a weekly renter pays for extra days at the daily rate.
