Third-Party Integrations — QuickBooks Online

We operate one or more internal software integrations that connect to our QuickBooks Online account through Intuit’s API. Each integration is granted only the minimum access it needs, on a least-privilege basis, and is used only for the internal purpose described below. Depending on the integration, we may access:

• Financial reports (e.g., Profit and Loss, cash basis) — read-only — used to compute internal cash-allocation amounts and for internal financial reporting.
• Customer contact information (such as name, phone number, and email) — used to send service- and review-related communications to customers who have done business with us. Where we contact customers by phone or text message, we do so consistent with applicable consent requirements, and customers may opt out at any time (for text messages, by replying STOP, or by contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL]).
• Additional QuickBooks data — as we add integrations, we may access additional QuickBooks Online data solely for our internal business operations, always limited to the minimum each integration requires.

We process this data only for the purposes stated above. Financial report data is processed in memory and is not stored in a separate database. Customer contact information may be stored as needed to operate the relevant communication process and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose. We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens required to maintain each connection in an encrypted secrets manager, with access limited to authorized personnel and transmitted over TLS. We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data with third parties. Tokens are retained until the connection is revoked, which can be done at any time through Intuit’s account settings.
